Adjudications
Piano adjudications give students a fun, one-on-one lesson with a visiting professor who offers encouraging feedback and fresh ideas. Memorization isn’t required—it’s simply a supportive way to grow, gain confidence, and discover new skills at the piano.

Piano Recitals
Because their progress deserves to be shared! In-person or virtual, our recitals are low-pressure and student-centered. Each child chooses music they feel proud to perform, and families get to celebrate just how far they’ve come.

Piano Festivals
A great fit for kids who enjoy a little extra motivation! Students perform pieces they’ve practiced and earn points that add up to trophies that get bigger and bigger over time. It’s structured, rewarding, and surprisingly fun for everyone!

Piano Competitions for Pre-College Students
When students are ready for new challenges, we provide support for local piano competitions. These opportunities help young pianists perform on stage, receive valuable feedback from judges, and set meaningful goals. Each year, students may choose to participate in the AMTA Piano Competitions in November or the Alaska Piano Competition held at University of Alaska Anchorage in early May. While competitions are not the sole focus of our studio, they can be a rewarding part of a student’s musical journey if the student is READY and if there is interest involved. We are willing to help.
